Advanced Auto Trends, Inc. is a full service supplier of plastic injection molding, insert molding,
cold heading, thread rolling, and metal stamping components, serving the automotive and commercial
markets. Advanced Auto Trends, Inc. has long been a versatile operation dedicated to providing exceptional
quality products and services while striving to exceed our customers expectations. We have provided
engineering and manufacturing services for automotive and commercial products since 1980.
Advanced Auto Trends, Inc. has two facilities located in Oxford, MI, with 25,000 square feet of floor
space at each location. We also have a third facility located in Snover, MI, with 65,000 square feet
of manufacturing and assembly floor space.
Our manufacturing capabilities consists of 30 horizontal injection molding machines ranging in size
from 28 ton to 1,100 ton and 7 vertical injection molding machines ranging in size from 75 ton to 300
ton. We also have 6 stamping machines ranging in size from 30 ton to 300 ton. Complex automated
assembly / error proofing systems including robotics can be designed and built in house to accommodate
any manufacturing assembly needs.
Advanced Auto Trends, Inc. engineering services consists of the latest CAD packages. We have the ability
to import CAD data in the following native formats: Unigraphics; Catia; Ideas. We can also accept CAD data
in the following translations: IGES; STEP; DXF; DWG. Engineering utilizes various software packages for part
design and NC tool program paths. These software packages consist of: Unigraphics; Ideas; Key Creator; Work NC.
A wide range of engineering expertise in part design, material selection, functional requirements, mold
design, automated assembly / error proofing operations, and processing allow us to support our customers
in optimizing their designs.
Our in house tool room has the ability to build and maintain complex prototype and production injection
molds as well as stamping dies. Our CNC machining envelope ranges up to 72” x 35” x 30”
and includes vertical machining centers as well as 4 axis wire EDM capabilities. We also have a Mitutoyo
coordinate measuring machine on site which enables us to consistently validate components up to 40”
x 28” x 18”.
